The Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitable qualified Malawians to fill the following vacant positions existing at ZOMBA CITY COUNCIL.
POST: Land Registrar
GRADE: M6/I
SALARY: Within the range Grade M6/1 salary scale segment
Qualifications:
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Land Management, Land Administration, Land Economy, Real Estate Management, obtained from an accredited and recognized university plus two (2) years relevant working experience.
Duties:
- Registration of land transactions on daily basis
- Settlement of land disputes within his or her jurisdiction
- Liaising with other stakeholders on land transactions
- Approving of draft instruments from various clients (banks, financial institutions and lawyers).
- Site inspection of development projects.
- Maintaining land register.
- Drafting documents and other instruments.
