Role Description
The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning,
budgeting, and forecasting for Ritz Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries,
ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This full-time, on-site role
based in Malawi includes managing accounting operations, monitoring cash flow,
and preparing management reports to support strategic decision-making. The
Finance Manager will develop and implement internal controls, ensure compliance
with regulatory and tax requirements, and coordinate audits. The role also
involves analyzing financial performance, identifying cost-saving
opportunities, supporting investment evaluations, and partnering with business
unit leaders to align financial strategies with operational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong
skills in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, with the
ability to prepare and interpret detailed financial reports. - Proficiency
in accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance, including
experience with audits and tax regulations. - Capability
in financial analysis, cost management, and investment appraisal to
support data-driven business decisions. - Effective
use of financial software and ERP systems, as well as advanced Excel and
data analysis tools. - Excellent
communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to work
with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. - Proven
organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with
attention to detail and integrity in handling financial information. - Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional
certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly beneficial. - Relevant
experience in managing finances within a diversified or group structure;
experience in sectors such as oil and gas, agriculture, real estate, or
ICT is an advantage.
