Kachere Agriculture Trading Limited is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals to urgently fill multiple positions in its agricultural operations.

Job Overview

Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting and managing horticulture production, livestock and poultry operations, and general farm maintenance activities.

Position 1: Farm Manager – Horticulture

The Role

• Oversee horticulture production and irrigation systems

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production of various horticulture crops, including rice
• Design and oversee installation of basic irrigation systems
• Supervise farm operations and staff
• Ensure efficient and sustainable production practices
• Plant nursery products

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in General Agriculture or Irrigation
• Minimum of 5 years experience in horticulture production
• Minimum of 5 years experience in irrigation system design and installation
• Strong leadership and farm management skills

Additional Information

• Location: Santhe, Kasungu
• Salary: MK 300,000 per month (accommodation provided)

Position 2: Livestock & Poultry Assistant

The Role

• Support management of livestock and poultry operations

Key Responsibilities

• Manage poultry and livestock production activities
• Monitor animal health and implement disease control measures
• Maintain proper feeding and care routines
• Support general farm operations

Qualifications and Skills

• Certificate in Veterinary or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in livestock and poultry management
• Knowledge of animal health and disease control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information

• Location: Santhe, Kasungu
• Salary: MK 150,000 per month (accommodation provided)

Position 3: Gardener (3 posts)

The Role

• Maintain and manage gardens and landscapes

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general gardening and landscaping duties
• Maintain plants, lawns, and outdoor spaces
• Ensure cleanliness and proper care of garden areas
• Plant nursery products

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a gardener
• Experience from a recognized landscaping company or garden
• Knowledge of plant care and maintenance
• Physically fit and hardworking
