SALE OF MOTOR VEHICLES
BY TENDER

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites bids from the public for the sale of motor vehicles. The details of the vehicles are indicated below:

The motor vehicles will be available for inspection from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., beginning Monday, 25 May 2026, through Thursday, 28 May 2026, at the UNDP Malawi Country Office, Area 40/7, City Centre, Lilongwe. The office is located opposite the Ministry of Lands, Zowe House.

Please note that all vehicles will be sold strictly on an “as is, where is” basis. No guarantee or warranty, whether expressed or implied, will be provided regarding the condition of the vehicles. Furthermore, no refunds will be issued after payment has been made. Buyers are responsible for paying all customs and import duties to the Malawi Revenue Authority, as the vehicles were originally purchased duty free.

All bids must be addressed to the Resident Representative and submitted electronically via email to disposal.malawi@undp.org. The deadline for submission is Friday, 5 June 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Please note that bids submitted in hard copy will not be accepted.

Successful bidders will be required to make payment within one week of receiving the offer. After payment has been affected, the vehicles must be collected within seven (7) working days.

Bank account details will be provided to winning bidders for payment purposes.

UNDP reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning reasons.
