1 The Pharmacy & Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA) is a statutory body established by an act of Parliament No 9. of 2019. It is mandated to regulate medicines, allied substances and the practice of Pharmacy in Malawi.

2. The Authority invites bids from the general public for the sale of Five (5) KIA Cerato Vehicles by Tender as follows on ‘as is basis’

3. Interested bidders may visit the PMRA head office located in Lilongwe next to MRA domestic taxes office off Paul Kagame Road to arrange for viewing of the vehicle(s) with the Transport Officer during working hrs (7.30-12.00 morning hrs and 1.30 to 4.30-afternoon hrs) Monday to Friday. You are only allowed to bid for one lot.

4. The successful bidder shall be notified of the results of the bid within 14 days after closure of the bidding period. Upon notification of the award, the successful bidder will be required to pay the full bid amount within 7 days after the offer. Failure to pay for the vehicle within the stated period shall render the offer void and the offer shall be given to the next successful bidder.

5. Upon full payment for the vehicle, the successful bidder is expected to remove the vehicle within 5 days failing which any stay of the of the vehicle at the PMRA premises shall attract a storage fee of MK100,000 per day.

6. Sealed Bids must be submitted to the following address not later than 16.00 hrs on Friday 21st August, 2026 and be clearly marked: BID FOR “SALE OF MOTOR VEHICLES” (Indicating the Lot that your are bidding for)
