REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE POLICY

Background
World Vision (WV) is a global Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. World Vision started its operations in Malawi in 1982 and had over the years worked in a number of communities with an overall aim of improving the well-being of children through development program approach.

World Vision Malawi hereby invites reputable and duly licensed insurance companies to submit proposals for the provision of a Workers Compensation Insurance Policy for its employees. This tender seeks to identify a qualified insurer capable of providing comprehensive and cost-effective accidental injury coverage aligned with the organization’s operational needs.

OBJECTIVE
The objective of this tender is to obtain reliable. comprehensive, and competitively priced Workers Compensation Insurance Coverage that safeguards employees against injuries or loss of life resulting from work-related accidents, while ensuring efficient claims management and service delivery

Submission Requirements:

1. Be licensed and regulated to operate as an insurance provider in Malawi
2. Submit valid copies of insurance licenses and relevant regulatory approvals
3. Demonstrate experience in providing Workers Compensation Insurance to corporate or institutional clients

The prospective bidders should express their interest by sending the following:

A technical proposal/Terms of reference (TORs) will be sent through a sourcing event from COUPA- World Vision International procurement online system within 24hrs upon receipt of an email of expression of interest from the bidder. Expression of interest sent later than 1 August, 2026 will not be considered.

Proposal Submission Details
Submission of proposals should be on or before Wednesday, 5th August 2026 at 17:00hrs Lilongwe time. Bids must be sent through the: COUPA- World Vision International procurement online.
