1.1.1. Nutrition International, a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating malnutrition worldwide, invites proposals from competent agencies for the Enhanced Monitoring and Measurement Activity in Malawi.

1.2. Background

1.2.1. Nutrition International is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of people living in vulnerable situations — especially women, adolescent girls and children – by improving their nutritional status.

1.2.2. Nutrition International is working alongside local government in implementing the Partnership for Sustainable Early Childhood Nutrition in Malawi project in two districts, Mangochi and Mzimba North, to scale up proven Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN) and Child Survival interventions across the 1000-day period, from pregnancy through the age of two.

1.2.3. This Request for Proposal (RFP), and particularly the Guidelines for Preparing Proposals that follow, are designed to help bidders produce proposals that are acceptable to Nutrition International, and to ensure that all proposals are given equal consideration. It is essential, therefore, that bidders provide the complete information that is requested, and in the formats and on the terms specified.
