1. Lilongwe Water Board (LWB) has funds budgeted for the Rehabilitation of Water Distribution Network for State Residences in Lilongwe.

2. The Lilongwe Water Board now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders, registered with Construction Industry Regulatory Authority (CIRA) under Civil Class – MK1.0 billion Category or above for the Rehabilitation of Water Distribution Network for State Residences in Lilongwe.

3. The main scope of assignment shall involve:

• Reinstatement Works
• Supply and Installation of pipes & fittings;
• Manhole Chambers and Dragline Irrigation System

4. The Works shall be completed within 240 days after commencement Date.

5. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and in full compliance with the provisions of Malawi’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No. 7 of 2025 and its Subsidiary Legislations. Bidding is open to all bidders as defined in the Bidding Document.

6. Eligible interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Document from the Procurement and Disposal Unit at the address given in 9(a) below from 08:00 to 16:00 hours local time (Monday to Friday) except on national public holidays.

7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 9(b) upon payment of non-refundable fee of K15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Kwacha only).

8. Sealed Bids marked with the procurement reference number should be deposited in the Tender Box on or before Wednesday, 26 August 2026 at 14:00 hours local time.
