Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is the official overseas relief and development agency of the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB) and is helping to promote sustainable development in the world’s most vulnerable countries. CRS/Malawi is extending invitations to submit bids for the supply and delivery of Likuni Phala as follows:

Interested applicants must include the following in their applications:

• Full contact details (name, postal and physical address, contact phone number and email addresses on company letterhead and signed by authorised officer.
• Certification from Malawi Bureau of Standards of production of Soy corn blend
• Proof of previous experience of supply of similar product (minimum of 3 contract/purchase orders)
• Bank statement for the past 6 months
• Detailed costing including all applicable taxes.
• Business registration certificate.
• Tax clearance certificate
• Bidder is required to quote for all quantity in the lot.
• Bidder should specify the validity of the offer.

Criteria for selection of winning bid include the following:

• Delivery time
• Availability of materials
• Terms of payment
• Price

Conditions:

• Applications through email with subject “Supply and delivery of Likun Phala to Karonga, Rumphi and Chitipa” should be sent to “tenders.malawi@crs.org.
• The closing date for receipt of applications is May 15th, 2026, at 16:00 hours. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Please Note:

• The price shall be quoted in Malawi kwacha. The amount of the bid cannot be changed following variations in the exchange rate. The choice of the exchange rate is up to the bidder, who assumes the risk and profits from the advantages related to the currencies exchange rates fluctuations.
