CALL FOR PREQUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TRAINING MATERIALS

Don Bosco Youth Technical Institute invites applications from suitably qualified, reputable and eligible suppliers for prequalification to supply and deliver training materials to the Institute for the period 2026/2027.  The purpose of this prequalification exercise is to establish a database of reliable suppliers who may be invited to submit quotations or bids for the supply and delivery of training materials when the need arises.

1. CATEGORIES OF TRAINING MATERIALS

Interested suppliers may apply for prequalification in one or more of the following categories:

1. Carpentry and Joinery Training Materials
2. Bricklaying and Construction Training Materials
3. Welding and Fabrication Training Materials
4. Automobile Mechanics Training Materials
5. Electrical Installation and Electronics Training Materials
6. Tailoring and Fashion Design Training Materials
7. Hotel Management and Hospitality Training Materials
8. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Training Materials
9. Office accessories and consumables
10. Plumbing training material

Specifications and quantities for specific requirements will be provided to prequalified suppliers when quotations or bids are requested.

2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Interested suppliers must demonstrate that they are legally registered and capable of supplying the required training materials. Applications should include copies of the following documents:

1. Valid Business Registration Certificate;
2. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate; Taxpayer Identification Number (TPIN)
3. Certificate; Company/Business Profile;
4. Evidence of previous experience in supplying similar goods;
5. At least two (2) recent references from organizations or institutions supplied with similar goods.
6. Physical address and contact details of the business; Details of the manufacturer’s authorization or distributorship, where applicable; Any other relevant documentation demonstrating the supplier’s capacity and reliability.

3. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

Interested suppliers should submit a written application for prequalification clearly indicating the category or categories of training materials for which they wish to be considered.

4. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION

Completed applications must reach Don Bosco Youth Technical Institute no later than 14^th August, 2026.

5. IMPORTANT NOTICE

Prequalification does not constitute a contract or guarantee that a supplier will receive an order from Don Bosco Youth Technical Institute. Prequalified suppliers may be invited to participate in subsequent quotation or procurement processes based on the Institute’s requirements and applicable procurement procedures.

Don Bosco Youth Technical Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any application and is not bound to prequalify any particular supplier.

Only suppliers who meet the Institute’s prequalification requirements will be considered for inclusion on the supplier database.
