Concern was founded in 1968 and has its headquarters in Ireland. Concern started working in Malawi in 2002. We are currently working in Lilongwe, Mchinji, Thyolo, Chikwawa and Nsanje Districts in six thematic areas: Sustainable Food Systems for Food Security, Climate and Environment, Gender and Social Inclusion and Social Protection. We are funded by various donors and we implement our development and emergency programmes directly and/or through local partners.
Concern is therefore inviting prospective contractors who are suitably qualified to provide works in the areas of our operations.
Section 1:
ALL CONCERN MALAWI CONTRACTORS must adhere to the Concern Terms and Conditions, Modern Slavery Act Transparency Statement and understand our Purchasing Policy. They must also adhere to the Anti Fraud, Whistleblowing and Safeguarding polices. These policies will be provided for signing and acceptance by all contractors should they be successful.

- Contractors who wish to be considered MUST do so by submitting the requirement listed on section 2 below.
- There will be no acceptance of submission in hard copies. All submissions should be electronically on the provided email address
- Contractors can send the required documentation (listed below) plus any specific documents mentioned in this category (CWW-MW-2026-08-04-PRE)

Any clarifications that may be sought on this pre-qualification process must be submitted in writing on or before 16:00 hours (local time) 26th August 2026 to the email address malawi.tender@concern.net queries and responses will also be shared with the other potential bidders.
Closing date
The closing date for the receipt of submissions and supporting documents is Friday 28th September 2026 location time
