Job Title : Pharmacy Assistant
Grade : L
Reporting to : Chief Clinical Technician
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checking drug stocks and making orders from the store.
- Cleaning of pharmacy floors, wiping benches and dusting stock containers.
- Prepackaging drugs ready for dispensing.
- Receiving prescriptions from out and in-patient and checking dosage and prescription particulars.
- Issuing required medicine to patients and giving instructions on how to use and store.
- Ensuring correct drug storage
- Monitoring drugs using HNIS tools and guidelines and report to the designated supervisor.
- Management of pharmaceutical supplies for Hospital words for departments.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Certificate in Pharmacy registrable in Malawi.
