1. Office of the President and Cabinet intends to carry out an exercise of boarding off Motor Vehicles in the
2026-2027 financial year. The Office therefore invites interested individuals to submit their bids for the purchase of motor vehicles on as-is-basis.

2. The Office invites interested bidders for the disposal of the following Motor vehicles:

3. Bidding will be conducted through open tendering with sealed bids and in full compliance with the provision of Malawis Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No. 27 of 2025 and its Subsidiary Legislations. Bidding is open to Malawian citizens bidders who will be required to submit copies of their national identification cards.

4. Bidders will be allowed to bid for one or all motor vehides. However, successful bidders will only be allowed to purchase one motor vehicle.

5. In line with Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Law, Office of the President and Cabinet staff or their relatives (children, spouses, siblings, parents or guardians) will not be allowed to participate in the bidding process.

6. Viewing of the motor vehicles for all prospective bidders will be held on 21st to 22nd July, 2026 from 14:00 to 16:00 hours local time (Tuesday and Wednesday).

7. Successful bidders will be required to pay 50% of the bid value as deposit within 14 days from the offer date and balance to be paid within 14 days thereafter.

8. Sealed bids marked with disposal reference number and motor vehice registration number should be deposited in the Tender Box on or before Wednesday, 29th July, 2026 at 14:00 hours local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted and late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address given in 9(b) below at 14:00 hours local time on Wednesday, 29th July, 2026.
