Green Peace Company Limited is seeking qualified and experienced professionals to support a large-scale Data Collection project on sales and consumer behavior on beef and beef products in 7 Districts of the Central region including; Dowa, Lilongwe, Ntchisi, Kasungu, Mchinji, Nkhotakota, Salima and Dedza. We invite applications from dynamic individuals to fill the following positions:
1. Team Leader (1 Position)
Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or Statistics.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing large-scale data collection projects.
Strong knowledge of ODK, data quality control, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of field activities.
Ensure adherence to survey methodology and data quality standards.
Lead the coordination between stakeholders and project teams.
2. Field Coordinator (1 Position)
Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s degree in Statistics, Demographics, or related field.
At least 3 years’ experience in coordinating field surveys.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise field supervisors and enumerators.
Plan and oversee data collection logistics.
Monitor survey progress and troubleshoot challenges.
3. Field Supervisors (Multiple Positions)
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising household surveys.
Proficiency in using ODK and GPS-enabled devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise enumerators and ensure quality data collection.
Conduct spot-checks and back-checks for accuracy.
Ensure timely submission of collected data.
4. Data Scientist (1 Position)
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or IT.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in data processing, analysis, and visualization.
Expertise in ODK, R, Python, and database management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage electronic data collection and processing.
Perform data cleaning and quality control.
Generate analytical reports based on collected data.
5. Enumerators (Multiple Positions)
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, or related field.
Previous experience in household surveys and electronic data collection.
Fluent in Chichewa and English.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct household interviews using electronic tablets.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of collected data.
Report daily progress to supervisors.
6. Logistics & IT Support (1 Position)
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Degree in IT, Logistics, or related field.
Experience managing survey logistics, tablets, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain tablets, power banks, and survey equipment.
Provide technical support to field teams.
Assist with transport and fieldwork coordination.
