VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Malawi Red Cross Society (MRCS) was established by Chapter 18:09 of the Laws of Malawi in 1966 as a Humanitarian Organization, with established presence in all 29 districts. It is a government sub-vented organization with a mandate of proving relief and aid to people affected by conflict and disasters through alleviation of human suffering and improving the quality of life of vulnerable communities. MRCS is a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and executes its mandate through the implementation of relief and development activities while disseminating the Movement’s Fundamental Principles.
MRCS is urgently seeking to engage the services of suitably qualified, motivated, capable and experienced individuals to fill the vacant positions which have emerged in its various districts. The positions detail is as follows:
Security Guards (Machinga, Balaka, Rumphi, Mwanza and Zomba)
The Security Guard maintains a safe and secure environment for clients and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education. Those with an experience in military or paramilitary services will be an added advantage
- Applicants MUST come from the stated districts.
