VACANCY
St Columba CCAP is a Christ centered Church in Blantyre Synod with a population of about 4,000 members located in Njamba near Njamba Freedom Park in Blantyre.
The Church is looking for persons with relevant education background, experience and interpersonal skills to fill the above Positions:
Position : Security Guard
Reporting to : Human Resource & Administration Off.
Grade : JS2
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Applicants must be:
- Self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision
- Team player who is prepared to start work immediately.
DUTIES
- Inspect and patrol premises regularly
- Monitor property entrance.
- Authorize entrance of people and happenings.
- Secure all exits, doors and windows
- Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner.
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity
- Submit reports of every suspicious action
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of Junior Certificate of Education.
- 2 years’ experience as a Security Guard
- Outstanding surveillance and observation skills
- Good time management skills.
