Kamuzu University of Health Sciences has budgeted public funds to be used for the Outsourcing of various Services, Procurement of works and Procurement of goods specified below and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the specified goods and services as follows:

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement legislation of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, Lilongwe Campus, Procurement and Asset Disposal Unit, Attention: Procurement and Asset Disposal Manager, Tel (265) 1 871 911 Fax (265) 1 874 700 E-mail: wkazembe@kuhes.ac.mw and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK7,000.00. The payment shall be made to Bank:
National Bank of Malawi, Chichiri service centre, Account name: COM Rentals Account, Account number: 1003263618. The deposit slip will be used to collect the bidding document by the interested bidder. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

Four copies of the bids, one original and three copies, clearly marked with the Procurement reference numbers and addresses in sealed envelopes, must be delivered to Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, Lilongwe campus; P/Bag 1; Lilongwe; Attention: The IPDC Chairperson at or before 10.00hrs local time on 17th March 2026. The tender box will be placed at the Reception of the Administration Block. A Bid Securing Declaration must accompany all bids. Bids shall be valid for 120 days. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 10.00hrs local time on 17th March 2026.

Bidders are allowed to choose one or more lots. Bidders must, however, clearly indicate the lots they are bidding for on the envelope. The University is not bound to accept the lowest or any other tender.
