About the Organization
GoodVisionGlasses is a brand name of a German Non-Profit organization, registered in Malawi as OneDollarGlasses Ltd and is CONGOMA certified. Our goal is to ensure primary eye-care for all Malawians in need including free eye-screening, high quality glasses and referral to an eye clinic or ophthalmologist if an eye test confirms a suspected eye condition.
To accomplish its mission, Good Vision Glasses is inviting applications to fill the position of a Driver.
Position Description:
GoodVision Glasses Malawi is seeking a Driver to provide reliable and safe transportation for staff and materials during outreach and awareness campaigns. The successful candidate will ensure vehicle maintenance, assist with logistics, and support operational activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport staff and materials to outreach locations.
- Ensure proper maintenance, servicing, and cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials for outreach activities.
- Keep accurate vehicle logs and report any mechanical issues.
- Support administrative and logistical tasks as required.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist With outreach activities
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience.
- Diploma in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
- Ability to drive long distances and in rural areas.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
