Bua Stopover & Lodge in Kasungu District is looking for qualified personnel to fill the following vacant positions as soon as possible.
COOK
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook menu items.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Monitor stock and inform management of shortages or needed supplies.
- Assist in creating new menu items and specials.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a restaurant cook.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead the rest of the team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MSCE or food handling certificate/diploma
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or lodge kitchen.
