Call for Interns: Radio Presenters at Nyungwe Community Radio

Nyungwe Community Radio Station is excited to announce an opportunity for 3 dynamic and motivated interns to join our team as Radio Presenters for a period of 3 to 6 months, depending on individual performance and commitment. This is voluntary internship.

Are you passionate about media, community storytelling, and radio broadcasting? Do you want to build your skills while amplifying voices in your community? Then this opportunity is for you!

Minimum Qualification:

  • At least Diploma in Journalism from a reputable institution is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hosting and co-hosting live radio programs
  • Editing scripts
  • Prepare scripts and show content on topics such as youth development, health, education, culture, and community affairs
  • Conducting interviews and facilitating listener interaction
  • Support the station in daily production tasks and outreach

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills in Chichewa and/or English
  • Confidence in public speaking and willingness to learn Interest in radio/media, community development, or journalism Prior experience is an added advantage but not required

Internship Duration:

  • 3 to 6 months (based on performance and commitment)

Location:

  • Nyungwe Community Radio Station, Chikwawa District
