Neno District Council has received funds from the Government of Malawi through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and intends to use part of the funds to cover for Construction of various projects in Neno. 2. Bidding will be conducted through open tendering procedures under Request For Quotation (RFQ) and National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the Malawi Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act 2025 and Regulations of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and are open to all Contractors/bidders from Eligible Source as defined in the Bidding Documents.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 08:00 to 12:00; 13:00 to 16:00 hour’s local time (Monday to Friday except national public holidays).

4. Complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK30, 000.00. The method of payment will be cash or bank deposit to Neno District Council Revenue Account 1320000045107 FDH Neno Branch. The Bidding Documents will be collected by the interested bidder upon production of proof of payment.

5. Bids must be valid for ninety (90) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration per lot. Bids must be delivered to the address in 8(a) and deposited in a box marked “IPDC Tender Box” that is placed at the Entrance to Neno District Commissioner’s Offices at or before 10.00 Hours Local Time on Friday, 31st July, 2026. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address in 8(b) below at 10.00 Hours Local Time on Friday, 31st July, 2026.

6. It is the responsibility of each Bidder to ensure that bids are submitted in accordance with “Instructions to Bidders” in the bidding documents as non-compliance to the instructions will lead to disqualification and rejection of the bid.
