BACKGROUND
SOS Children’s Villages Malawi is a non-governmental organization dedicated to ensuring that every child grows up with the love, care and support they need to thrive. Established in Malawi in 1991, the organization is guided by the vision that every child belongs to a family and grows with love, respect and security. Our mission is to build families for children in need, help them shape their own futures and share in the development of their communities.

In partnership with the Government of Malawi, local communities, donors and other stakeholders, SOS Children’s Villages Malawi implements programmes that strengthen families, protect children’s rights and improve the well-being of children, young people and vulnerable households. Our work focuses on family strengthening and child protection, quality care for children without parental care or at risk of losing it, education, youth employability and vocational skills development, sustainable livelihoods, and advocacy to promote children’s rights and influence policies that create safe and supportive environments for every child.
SOS Children’s Villages Malawi operates programmes across the country through its locations in Chikwawa, Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzimba, and Mzuzu.

To support the implementation of its programmes, SOS Children’s Villages Malawi invites bids from suitably qualified and experienced contractors and suppliers for the following:

Lot 1 : Construction of 2 VIP Latrines at Lilongwe SOS Children’s Villages Primary School.

Lot 2 : Supply of 200 Classroom Desks, 7 Teachers Desks and 7 Teacher’s Chairs at Lilongwe SOS Children’s Villages Primary School

SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Completed bids should be submitted by email to NIPC@sos-malawi. org and info@sosmalawi.org or delivered by hand to the address below not later than 7th August 2026:

A non-refundable fee of MK10,000.00 is payable for each tender document, it must be deposited into the following account:

Proof of payment must be emailed to NIPC@sos-malawi.org or bidders must present proof of payment at the office upon submission of the Bid Document.
