INVITATION TO BID (ITB) – FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Sable Farming Company Limited invites sealed bids from interested, reputable, and qualified transport service providers for the provision of transportation services.

Scope of Services

The successful bidder(s) will be required to provide transportation services for the following:

• Transportation of macadamia, coffee, and other goods from Ngapani Estate to factories located at Mapanga.
• Transportation of selected goods from Blantyre to Ngapani Estate.

Location Details

Ngapani Estate is situated approximately 280 kilometres from Blantyre.

Preferred Route

The recommended route is as follows:

Blantyre – Zomba – Liwonde Turn-Off – Iduruzi – Itunchi – Ibrahima – Ngapani

Note: The section from Iduruzi to Ngapani (approximately 54 km) consists of mud road, requiring suitable and durable transport equipment.

Vehicle Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate access to and availability of suitable vehicles, including:

• 10-ton and 15-ton trucks
• Vehicles must be in good mechanical condition
• Capable of operating efficiently under mixed terrain conditions, including mud roads

Eligibility Criteria

Interested bidders must:

• Be legally registered and compliant with applicable laws and regulations
• Have proven experience in transportation/logistics services
• Demonstrate capacity to meet operational demands
• Provide valid insurance and vehicle documentation
