CARE Malawi intends to dispose-off the Motor Vehicles and MotorCycles in the 2027-2028 Tinancial year. The Office therefore invites interested individuals to submit their sealed bids along with bid security for the purchase of the motor vehicles on as-is-basis.

• Bidding cocumerts can be obtained from the CARE Malawi Country Office in Pamodzi House, 3 Floor, City Centre, Lilongwe. Please note that only original documents issued by CARE Malawi will be considered valid for submission.
• Bidding will be conducted through open tendering with sealed bids. Only halawian citizens are eligible to participate in the biding process, and they will be required to submit copies of their national identification cards along with their bids
• Bidders will be allowed to bid for one, all or any number o*motor vehicles and evaluation of bids will be done on item basis. However, successful bidders will only be allowed to purchase one motor vehicle unless there is no other bidder.
• Bids submitted without bid security will be rejected. The bid security in the form of a bank cheque made out to “CARE Malawi” will be the only acceptable form of bank security which is refundable only if bidder is not successful.
• Bidders will be selected based on the best offer submitted, which should not be lower than the market reserve assessment price.
• Successful bidders will be required to pay 100% of the bic value within 7 days from the offer date.
  If the wnning bidder fails to make the payment after the seven days, the bid security will be forfeited, and the item will be offered to the next best bidder if their offer is not less than the reserve prices.
• Sealed bids marked with disposal Lot reference number should be delivered to the address and deposited in the Tender Box on or before Thursday, 9th JULY 2026 at 14:00 hours local time Electronic bidding will not be permitted, and late bids shall be rejected. Dids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address given below at 14:00 hours local time on 9 JULY 2026.
