1. INTRODUCTION

The Department of e-Government, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Malawi, invites applications from eligible and competent service providers for prequalification to provide Government Wide Area Network (GWAN) maintenance services under a Framework Agreement.

The Department has made budgetary provisions for the 2026/2027 Financial Year and subsequent periods, subject to annual budget approvals, to support the procurement of these services.

The objective of this exercise is to establish a list of qualified service providers for a period of two (2) years (2026-2028), to be engaged through call-off contracts as and when required.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

The services shail include, but not be limited to:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of GWAN infrastructure
  Network monitoring and performance management
• Troubleshooting and technical support
• Configuration, upgrades, and optimization

3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Interested applicants must:

• Be registered with the Registrar of Companies
• Possess a valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  Be registered with the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA)
• Be registered with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA)
• Demonstrate relevant experience in WAN/GWAN services
• Have qualified technical personnel
• Not be debarred from public procurement

Only prequalified service providers will be invited to participate in call-off procurements under the Framework Agreement
