INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TWO THIRTY- SEATER COASTERS

BY NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING
FIRST ISSUE ON: 21st JULY, 2026

1. The National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA) is a Trust established by the Malawi Government on 5th June 1999 to assume responsibility for the Management of the Country’s Strategic Food Reserves (SFR)

2. The Agency has budgeted funds to be used for the procurement of two thirty-seater Coasters for 2026-2027 financial year. The Agency now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for this procurement as follows:

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Open Tender procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act no. 7 of 2025 of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

5. A complete set of Bidding Document in English may be purchased by interested bidders in person upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK20, 000.00 at the address in paragraph 7(a) below between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. working days. The method of payment shall be in form of cash, bank certified cheque or electronic funds transfer.

6. Bids clearly marked with procurement reference number and sealed must be deposited in the Tender Box at the address in paragraph 8(b) below at or before 10:00 hours (local time) Monday 10th August 2026. Late bids shall be rejected, and electronic bidding is not allowed

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who choose to attend in person in the NFRA Boardroom at the address in paragraph 8(c) below at 10:00 hours (local time) on Monday 10th August 2026
