1. Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) budgeted funds for conversion of an Industrial Park into Classrooms and Associated External Works in Blantyre as follows:

2. MUBAS now invites sealed bids from eligible Contractors in the CIRA Unlimited Category (Building).

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with open tender procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets and its subsidiary legislation and is open to all eligible bidders. Prospective bidders should take note that bidding will be conducted using Malawi National Electronic Procurement System (MANePS)

4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be accessed upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK10, 000.00. Bidders should pay the afore-mentioned fee by depositing it in the bank using the bank details stated below and submit the deposit slip to MUBAS Finance Department as proof of payment. The receipt issued by the MUBAS Finance Department shall be uploaded into MANePS by the bidder to access the tender document.

5. A Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting and a Mandatory Site Visit shall be conducted on 12th June 2026 in the MUBAS Main Boardroom at the MUBAS Main Campus in Blantyre from 9.30 am and a Mandatory site visit to the construction site shall follow.

6. Sealed bids must be uploaded in the MANePS before or at 10 am Malawian time on 22nd June 2026.
