Luchenza Municipal Council has budgeted funds in the financial year 2026-2027 with the Ministry of Finance and Decentralisation approved allocation for implementation of various projects in the constituency of Luchenza Municipality under the Championed Reformed Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Luchenza Municipal Council now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors registered with Construction Industry Regulatory Authority (CIRA) in relevant categories for the procurement of the following:

1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with open tendering procedures contained in Public Procurement Law and Regulations of the Government of Malawi and is open to all eligible bidders.

2. Luchenza Municipal Council reserves the right to accept and/or reject any Bid.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information or seek clarification from Luchenza Municipal Council through 0888 538 844 or 0993 930 921 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm weekdays only.

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be requested electronically at nmphangwe@yahoo.com upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK 30,000.00.

5. Bids in sealed envelope and clearly marked with the Procurement Reference Number.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 pm on 24th August, 2026. Late Bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend.
