INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) PROCUREMENT OF VARIOUS SUPPLIES UNDER FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT AND
REHABILITATION WORKS
Issue Date: 14th April, 2026

1. Salima District Council has budgeted funds for the implementation of various activities in the district and intends to apply part of the funds for the procurement of various goods under a framework agreement through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and rehabilitation works under Request for Quotation(RFQ) procedures from eligible bidders.

2. The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Asset Disposal Committee, Salima District Council now invites sealed bids from prospective bidders for the supply and rehabilitation works of the following.

4. A complete set of Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon request to the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK20,000.00. payment for the documents will be made at the Cash Office at the address below. The method of payment will be cash only.

5. Sealed bids for RFQ will be delivered at Salima District Council Offices on or before Tuesday 21st April, 2026 at 10.00 hours in a Tender box placed at the entrance of the Procurement Office. Late Bids will be rejected.

6. Bids will be opened publicly in presence of bidders or representatives who choose to attend on Tuesday 21st April, 2026 at 10:00 hours at the Salima District Council Chamber.

7. Sealed bids for Framework agreement will be delivered at Salima District Council Offices on or before Wednesday 13th May 2026 at 10:00 hours in a Tender box placed at the entrance of the Procurement Office. Late Bids will be rejected.

8. Bids will be opened publicly in presence of bidders or representatives who choose to attend on Wednesday, 13th May 2026 at 10:00 hours at the Salima District Council Chamber.
