IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS UNDER REFORMED CONSTITUENCY DEVELOPMENT FUNDS (RCDF) IN DEDZA DISTRICT
Issue Date : 15TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

1. Dedza District Council with funding from the Central Government (Treasury) through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has budgeted public funds for the Procurement of works for the Construction, Upgrading and Rehabilitation of selected Projects under RCDF in Dedza District.

2. Dedza District Council now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction, Upgrading and Rehabilitation of the following selected Dedza District Council projects.

3. Bidding will be conducted following National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and in full compliance with the provisions of Malawi’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) Act of 2025 and its Subsidiary Legislations, and is open to all eligible contractors registered with the Construction Industry Revenue Authority of Malawi (CIRA) and have renewed their membership.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from; The Chief Procurement Officer, Dedza District Council, Room 9 at Dedza District Council Offices, Email: radfordmatiya@gmail.com / judithmaseya@gmail.com/ during working hours from 07:30am to 12:00 Noon and from 2:00pm to 4:30pm.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders during office hours, from 07:30 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday starting from Wednesday 16* September 2026, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K20,000.00 to NBS Bank, Account Number: 14342238, held at Dedza branch. Bidding documents shall be collected from the Procurement Unit of Dedza District Council, Room No. 9. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheques only.

6. Bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes clearly marked contract number, contract name and constituency name at or before 14:00pm on Monday, 5th October, 2026 at the address indicated below.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’, or their representatives, who choose to attend at DEDZA District Council Chamber at 14:00pm on Monday, 5th October, 2026.
