Nkhoma Litho Printing Press invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following positions.

The position is based at Nkhoma Offices

GRAPHIC/PRINT DESIGNER 

Reporting to: The Print Manager

Key responsibilities 

  • Design visually appealing and effective print materials (business cards, brochures, flyers, posters, etc.)
  • Create layouts, typography, and composition for print projects
  • Develop and maintain brand identity and consistency across print materials
  • Collaborate with clients and copywriters to understand project objectives
  • Conceptualize and design creative solutions to communicate messages

Design Tasks:

  • Logo design and branding
  • Brochure, flyer, and pamphlet design
  • Business card, letterhead, and stationery design
  • Poster, banner, and signage design
  • Magazine, newspaper, and editorial design
  • Packaging design (labels, boxes, etc.)
  • Advertising design (print ads)
  • Icon, graphic, and illustration creation
  • Image editing and retouching
  • Typesetting and typography

Technical Tasks:

  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop,)
  • Color management and color correction
  • Image processing and optimization
  • File preparation for print (PDF, bleed, trim)
  • Font management and typography settings
  • Designing for different print processes (offset, digital, screen printing)

 Qualifications, Experience and other related skills 

  1. Certificate or Diploma in Graphic/Print Design from a well-recognized institution with 3 years’ hands on.
  2. Organized, innovative and detail-oriented person.
  3. Able to work with minimum supervision
  4. Must be a committed Christian
