EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Supply and Delivery of Goods, Services and Works (Existing Pre-qualified Vendors Are Not Required to Re-apply)

1. BACKGROUND

Illovo Sugar Malawi plc invites Expressions of Interest (EOls) from competent, suitably qualified and duly registered suppliers, service providers and contractors for the supply and delivery of goods, services and works across its operations, namely:

• Nchalo Sugar Estate
• Dwangwa Sugar Estate
• Head Office – Churchill Road, Limbe
• Sugar Packing Station – Olivewood, Limbe

The Company seeks to broaden and strengthen its supplier base in line with its operational requirements, governance framework, and sustainable procurement objectives.

2. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO EXISTING VENDORS

Vendors who are already pre-qualified and registered in Illovo Sugar Malawi plo’s supplier database must NOT re-apply. This invitation strictly targets new vendors who are not yet registered.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND MANDATORY

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid MRA Tax Compliance Certificate

4. SUBMISSION DETAILS

9. QUALIFICATION CRITERIA AND REQUIRED INFORMATION

To qualify for stage 2 of this application, all interested parties must provide the following information;

1. Company Profile:
   1. Clear business physical address.
   2. Key staffing levels, skills, qualifications and summary of experience
   3. Number of permanent employees.
2. Company Safety: Health, Environmental and Quality policy.
3. Company code of ethics:
   1. Anti-bribery and Corruption, Human Rights policies and policies on fair labour practices including child and forced labour.
4. Certificate of Incorporation/Registration
5. Certificate of shareholding and details of shareholders.
6. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
7. Valid Workers Compensation
8. Compliance Certificate.
9. Company experience in the provision of similar supply/services.
10. Documented proof of existing or previous clients.
11. Relevant Accreditation Certifications.
12. Any quality or food safety certification such as ISO 9001, or ISO 22000/FSSC 22000.

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. The Eol will be evaluated based on the listed qualification criteria above.
2. This Eol and any tender/enquiry shall adhere to Illovo Sugar Malawi plc Standard Trading
   Conditions.
3. Approval as an Illovo Sugar Malawi ple supplier is contingent on initially meeting our Quality and Food Safety standards and continuing to meet these standards throughout the entire term of the relationship from a supplier site and material perspective.
