1. The Republic of Malawi and United Republic of Tanzania have received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Tanzania – Malawi Transmission Line Interconnection Project (TAMA). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for a Bankable Feasibility Study, Conceptual Design and Tender Documents Preparation.

2. The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) now invites sealed Expression of Interest from eligible bidders for the provision of Consultancy Services for a Bankable Feasibility Study, Conceptual Design and Tender Documents Preparation
