Green Jobs for Adolescent Youth Project Endline Evaluation

Save the Children is implementing the Green Jobs for Adolescent Youth project in Mzimba and Ntcheu districts, in partnership with CRECCOM, ADRA, TEVETA, Mzuzu E-Hub and Mzuzu University. The SC Italy funded three-year project aims to contribute to addressing a lack of employable skills and income for sustainable transition of young people to adulthood, which contribute to environmental protection and restoration.

The project’s goal is for vulnerable adolescents and youth (15 to 24 years) to successfully transition into adulthood and achieve sustainable economic independence. It seeks to address three immediate causes: (i) Lack of decent jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities; (ii) Lack of green skills that contribute to positive social and environmental outcomes (including technical, vocational, financial and (ili) Youth face multiple and intersecting barriers, including gender inequality, limited and unequal access to opportunities, ableism, and gender based violence, and often lack inclusive and safe platforms to express their diverse needs, priorities and ideas. The Green Jobs for Adolescent Youth project is primarily targeting Youths aged 15-24, adolescent girls and young women. The project was implemented from 2023 up to 2026.

Save the Children International in Malawi is inviting submissions of proposals for the Green Jobs for Adolescent Youth Project Endline Evaluation Study. Detailed technical specifications are included within the Terms of Reference (TOR) document.

Eligible bidders meeting all stated requirements are requested to adhere to the following when applying:

1. Submit both Technical and Financial Proposals as separate documents through one email clearly marked “GJ4Y- Endline Evaluation”
2. The technical proposal should include well detailed approach to the research in line with the terms of reference.
3. The technical proposal should also include copies of legal registration, tax registration, tax clearance, CVs and relevant certificates.
4. Provide a timeline/work plan for conducting this study in line with the terms of reference.
5. Supporting documents such as CVs (attached as appendices).
6. Submit applications_electronically with subject title. Physical submissions will not be accepted and information on scanned documents should be visible, not blurry.
7. Submit applications to the below email address: scimalawi.consultant@savethechildren.org by 6th May 2026 at or 12:00 mid night local time.

• Submissions will be reviewed on rolling basis.
• Email address for requesting TORs and email address for submission of applications are different
• Late submissions will not be accepted
• Physical bid/application submissions will not be accepted.
• Save the Children reserves the right to accept the lowest, highest bidder or no bidder at all
• Save the Children maintains a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy on child sexual abuse and reserves the right to reject a proposal if the successful bidder is found to have history of sexually abusing children. Further, the successful bidder shall be obliged to odhere to the child safeguarding policy and requirements for the organisation.
