WE ARE RECRUITING
AFRICA REGIONAL ESG OFFICER & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
We are an experienced leader to drive ESG strategy and stakeholder engagement across Africa. This pivotal role aligns regional operations with global sustainability targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy: implement regional ESG goals aligned with global targets. Develop a global ESG leadership team to lead corporate leaders. Coordination: Monitor global trends (Carbon legislation, supply chain due diligence) and harmonize regional practices. Leadership: Establish a Regional ESG Committee. Support: Assist local management with ESG reporting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-10 years in EHSQ/ESG Management within manufacturing or processing.
- Experience in tobacco or commercial ag-business is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 12001, 45001), GHG accounting, and IMS.
EDUCATION
- BSc Honours in Sustainability, Environmental Science, OHS, or Social Sciences (MSc preferred).
