POLYMED SACCO Limited
POLYMED SACCO, a financial cooperative licensed and regulated by the Reserve Bank of Malawi and affiliated with MUSCCO, invites applications from suitably qualified members to fill two vacant positions on its Board of Directors.
POSITION: BOARD DIRECTORS (2 POSITIONS)
Location: Blantyre
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have been a POLYMED SACCO member for at least three years and saved not less than K600,000 in shares.
- Must possess a minimum of a Diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field, such as Administration, Sales and Marketing, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Auditing or Information Technology. A degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
- Must not have been convicted of any criminal offence by a court of law.
Personal Attributes and Requirements
- Willingness to serve voluntarily in accordance with SACCO principles.
- Ability to attend SACCO meetings regularly.
- Good public speaking and communication skills.
- Must be up to date with personal loan repayments.
- Good knowledge of the Financial Cooperatives Act, SACCO by-laws, policies and operational procedures.
- Sound understanding of financial accounts and current affairs.
