An exciting opportunity has arisen in Malawi Posts Corporation to fill the following vacancies:
Position: Driver
Grade: M10
Location: Chichiri, Lilongwe and Mzuzu Courier Offices
Duties / Responsibilities
- Driving and taking good care of MPC vehicles.
- Inspecting the vehicle for defects before, during and after trips and report to the Transport Officer.
- Checking mail list to determine the number of mail bags carried and verifying accuracy.
- Reporting all accidents and incidents involving the Corporation vehicles to the Transport Officer.
- Reporting any delays due to breakdowns, traffic condition, or other emergencies relating to the collection of mail.
- Maintaining all vehicle records such as logbooks
- Any other related duties assigned by Management from time to time
Job Requirements
- MSCE
- Driving licence Code C1 with category PGD
- More than 4 years of experience
